Job Duties:

• We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team at Silver Cube Ltd, an IT service provider company. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and infrastructure for our clients. You will collaborate with clients, analyze their IT requirements, and deliver customized solutions that meet their business needs. Your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to delivering exceptional service will contribute to the success of our organization and client satisfaction.

   

  *Key Responsibilities:*

  1. Provide Support and Maintenance Service:

  Respond to client requests and troubleshoot technical issues promptly. Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and optimal performance. Monitor system health, diagnose problems, and implement appropriate solutions. Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving software and hardware issues. Document support activities, resolutions, and maintain accurate records.

   

  2. Project Planning and Deployment:

  Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and technical needs.   Participate in project planning, including system design, configuration, and implementation. Conduct system testing and ensure smooth integration with existing infrastructure. Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Provide guidance and technical expertise during project implementation and ensure adherence to best practices.

   

  3. Collaborate with Service Providers:

  Liaise with external service providers and vendors to obtain necessary support and expertise. Coordinate with service providers for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and licensing. Communicate effectively with service providers to address technical issues and ensure timely resolution. Evaluate and recommend service providers based on their expertise, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

   

  4. Stay up-to-date with Technical knowhow:

  Continuously update knowledge and skills in the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Stay informed about advancements in system engineering, networking, security, and other relevant domains. Attend training sessions, conferences, and webinars to enhance technical expertise. Share knowledge and insights with colleagues and contribute to the overall growth of the team.

   

  *Requirements:*

  • System: Proficient in ESXi, Veeam, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of Firewall Policies, VPN, vLAN, Subnet, and WiFi-6.
  • Infrastructure: Experience with Server administration, Storage management, NAS (Network Attached Storage), SAN (Storage Area Network), and Cloud technologies.
  • Linux Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP for setting up LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environments.
  • Brands: Working knowledge of Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise), Sophos, Ruckus, and HDS (Hitachi Data Systems).
  • Technical Services: Proficiency in installation, upgrade, and migration of systems and applications.
