Job Duties:
As a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Hellotoby, you will work closely with our software development team to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases to identify software defects, and for working with the development team to resolve any issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the software development team to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software products.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Communicate with developers and product managers to prioritize and resolve reported issues.
- Create and maintain automated testing process and systems for our products
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new testing tools, and best practices to improve the overall quality assurance process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years experience with functional testing of system hardware and software
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools on web/app applications (e.g Selenium, SoapUI, JMeter) is a plus
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Javascript) is a plus
- Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants with relevant skills will be considered
