About this role
As a Software Engineer in our Oodles department, you’ll apply engineering principles and knowledge of programming languages to build software solutions for end-users. More information is available at www.oodles.com.hk.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent opportunity to work on IoT projects (Smart Furniture)
- Responsible for mobile app UI development and cloud data management
- Work with a team on product development, troubleshooting and project follow-up
- Assist in ad hoc assignments when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related disciplines
- Relevant experience in Mobile Application development(e.g. Java/Kotlin and Objective C/Swift) and cloud data management
- Knowledge in WEB development and GUI Design(e.g. CSS, HTML5, WebGL, JavaScript, Node.js, Bootstrap) is a plus
- Relevant experience preferably in Microcontroller Firmware, e.g. Microchip (Esp32/Esp8266), Arduino, C Programming is a plus
- Deep understanding of networking protocols(e.g. TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, MQTT) and modern IoT technologies(e.g. Bluetooth, Zigbee) is a plus
- Native proficiency in Cantonese and good command of Mandarin and English
- Innovative and interested in new technology, strong sense of responsibility, good team player, eager to learn
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
