Assistant IT Manager / Senior IT Officer

Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
- Participate in project management, monitor project plan & schedules and provide regular project updates;
- Work with IT vendors on the development of solutions for continuous improvement and further optimization;
- Perform system configuration and optimization to ensure operation stability and efficiency of IT system and networks;
- Monitor system health & backup operations and ensure data security;
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems on wide range of hardware and software, specially on POS;
- Keep an accurate inventory list on hardware, software, licenses and IT-related equipment;
- Handle ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- Tertiary education or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in system administration, end user support and 2 years of project handling;
- Solid experience in POS, project management, MS Windows server, Linus server, VMWare, PC and server backup solution, enterprise network; (LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN/WiFi), Azure, end point protection solutions and familiar with security best practices;
- Exposure in IP telephony system, door access system, video conferencing and AV system, structured cabling will be an advantage;
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
- Good interpersonal skill and team player and able to work independently;
- Immediate available is preferred;
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior IT Officer
